Meeting of the working group of the Bochum "Bündnis gegen Rechts"

The Fritz Bauer Library is about intercultural dialogue on stories of resistance and survival, which we continue to tell on the library's interactive website. The project supports all those who - out of self-defence or to relieve suffering - stand up for human rights and whose commitment and willingness to take risks needs more publicity.

For further information see: www.fritz-bauer-bibliothek.de

The Bochum working group of the "Bündnis gegen Rechts" meets to discuss Bochum and worldwide resistance stories and to prepare the launch event on 28/29 September 2019. The working group is still open for fellow campaigners and invites everyone to join in.

"In the struggle for human rights" Fritz Bauer

19. März 2019 / 6.30 pm, Naturfreundehaus, Alte Bahnhofstraße 175, 44892 Bochum

Info evening about the terror of the NSU and the fight for the truth

In 1999, the National Socialist Underground (NSU) series of murders and terror began, ten people were murdered, three bomb attacks and fifteen robberies were carried out, and 43 attempted murders were committed. Although there were indications of right-wing extremist perpetrators from the outset, friends and relatives were suspected for many years and the victims were criminalized. Only after the self-deception of the NSU in 2011 was the right-wing extremist milieu investigated.

The survivors of the nail bomb attacks of the NSU in Cologne are involved in the "Keupstrasse ist überall" initiative. Today they want to tell us their stories, tell us about the struggle for truth, justice and a life in security.

An event of the Bochum "Bündnis gegen Rechts", the "Naturfreundejugend" and the interactive Fritz Bauer Library of the BUXUS STIFTUNG gGmbH.
